The magazine front cover of a rock magazine it uses pictures of the genre of music but also uses a simple and not a bright colour scheme it’s a more a dark colour scheme to go with the genre of rock but with the gold highlighting features its fits in with classic and showing that the band is good and great.

The free things in the magazine is advertised in the corner of the photo, as its trying to not cover up the main photo but uses a bright colour to make it known
The photo is in a greyscale to give the effect of old but dark linked with the rock theme.The text is writen big and bold but only big and bold on the band names showing music and bands are more important, that it means its all about the music inside and advertising its the best genre and the best music. The cover is all filled no white just dark and bold colours going with the gerne of music giving the impression that its rough and untidy unlike other music. Also a gold banner at the top of the magazine can also be seen and it stands out from the dark background colour and picture and its advertising a music concert, and it yet again shows it cares about the music it promotes in the magazine.
