This is an interesting photograph of an artist as its a dark background and then her orange hair really stands out from the background and makes it more intense and powerful. I like this image as it vibrant and appeals to a young audience. The shot is a good medium close-up of the artist which I would use for my front cover for my music magazine because it is full of exquisite detail. Also, she is posed in a mysterious but kind of smiling pose it would appeal to a young audience because it shows both the type of mysterious music but also to show the cheerful side of the artist too. Her cheerfulness communicates both her enthusiasm for music. But maybe to show the strangeness as she is posed on a sort of tilt to again show individualism and creativity; she is different and she wishes to promote that an artist can be two people like her audience: a teenager
and a lover of music.
Plus I like that it is shot in full colour because I think it wouldn't be as effective in grey scale as it is very effective in full glorious colour.
This is also a good photograph as she is posed in a sort of elegant and serene way but also I like that she has dark eye make up on to again show two different sides of the atrist as she performs a type of rock music but also pop as well, showing that that the image is quite light is to show the pop side of her and the darkness in her eyes to show show her rock side.I like the photoshot as again its a medium close up of the artist and shows everything in full superb detail which would be really good and
effective for the front cover of a magazine.The pose she is in as well is strange as one side you can see a happy side but also maybe a mysterious side as she isn't smiling which makes it a good photograph as you can get different emotions from this photo, but also see her innovative side in her music and performing in front of live crowds. It again is shot in full colour which i like but i think it could work well in both colour and grey scale as it would appeal to a young audience and would be still be very effective. Showing yet again an artist can have two completely different sides to themselves.Plus i think this is quite and natural beauty shot which would be good for target audience showing that's who she actually is and doesn't care showing she isn't fake and wants to be who she naturally is in her music for her fans and the way she performs.
This black and white photograph is good as well as it does something really clever as the front man who is actually the lead singer is placed at the front to show this, but also he is the only one who is wearing pure white and the men behind him are wearing dark clothing to make the lead singer stand out from the others and to make it know he is the lead singer plus it can also show he is the dominating one in the group. I like that its a long shot of the band and completely different from others as its normally a medium close up which I could use on my front cover as its different from other magazine photo shots on the front as it show all of the band instead of showing just parts of them, also they are posed in a lean strong way to give impressions about the type of music they perform and the way the band is themselves and what type of mood they want to portray in their music but also how they want perform on stage and how they want to come across to the audience.They also seem quite moody and mystifying in the way that they are as artist which would appeal to the target audience and it shows their originality in their music and make it their own.
I really do like this photograph as it shot in full colour but also I like the way that the band is posed as its almost in a playful manner as some are smiling but also some of the band aren't smiling to show that they are serious about their music but they like having fun with their music and gives the audience how they may perform on stage showing that they enjoy themselves whilst performing to the audience. Plus this pose is very inventive to show the bands own ideas and again the orange hair is the only real bright colour in the page to make it stand out and its very striking to catch he eye as they are posed on a very dark background and the male member behind is wearing dark clothing to make it stand out even more to show that she is the lead singer and she is the one who controls what they do, but from the image it shows that they all have an impact on the way do this as they are posed in there own unique ways which shows that the band as different characteristics which would appeal to the target audience as it again shows their distinctiveness to the audience. It is vibrant and energetic which again would appeal to the target audience but also gives insight into what there music is like and what they want to achieve with there music to be energetic but also meaningful to the fans and is shown in this good image of the band.
This is posed action shot of a band, and i think its really effective as the lead singer is the only one wearing quite a bright and vivid colour which makes it very clear that he is the leader and is central to the band itself
plus he is wearing purple which could give the emotion of dreams and things going well maybe to show the fans and audience dreams can come true and that the band itself is doing well which the target audience could gain inspiration for the music career themselves. Its a long shot to show all of the band members but also to show what they are doing, which is playing their instruments and I like that you see what they are doing and this long shot is very detailed. This posed action shot is good as it showing the band actually playing or practicing their music instead of posing which I like and I may consider doing something like this for my front cover photograph, as it seems that they are posing but not trying to look mysterious or moody there are posing with the musical instruments which shows that they really care about their music and its just about the music and what happiness they get from it, they don't how they look the just want to play which would appeal to the target audience as they can see that the band just enjoys playing fantastic music for the fans to listen to showing that it doesn't matter that they are famous they just want perform and entertain their loyal fans. Yet another dark background to the image to show the genre of music they play and to show that they can be qutie dark but only in their music and that the clothes show the different characteristics of the band with the bright and flamboyant clothing. This photograph gives a good image for the band and about the band it makes them friendly and approachable but also to show that its easy to get in listening their music. But with band using the instruments in the action shot its shows that the band is dedicated to
their music.
This medium shot of the artist is good as she posed but in a natural setting which makes it different from other photos which shows that the artist is maybe comfortable in any type of environment, which also is strongly linked with the pose that she is in its not a relaxed posed its more of stern and strong image this shot is trying portray of the artist to show that yes it to highlight she is pretty but behind that face she is a strong women and is strong and very passionate about her music but also that maybe her music is so strong it can influence her fans and music lovers around. To also show her originality is shown through the clothes she is wearing because they are very unusual to show she is modern also her artistic power which would appeal to the target audience as it shows creativity. This image you can also see the artists passion and very enthusicatic about her music. I could use parts of this image like shooting a photograph on a natural background to make it maybe more personal to audience as its there natural living space but also shows that an artist with the right clothes and shot can stand out easily from a natural background and maybe types of poses can be produced on a natural background for example a strong image like this one but also a serene image which would suit the background settings. But what I don't like about this image is that its very airbrushed in the editing process as shows the fake side to her and doesn't show who she truly is which is a bad image to come across to the audience and a more natural image would be better and more effective to the music lovers and target audience.
This image I think is good as it shots he band in a medium shot which gives the image its grand detail, but it seems to me that its slightly tilted upwards to give the impression that the band is strong together and its sort of intimidating and menacing appeal in this photograph with the slight tilt, but with them posed in causal clothing them seem more approachable and it just shows them menacing as that's the image that want to portray in their music as the genre of music they perform is rock showing they are trying to really highlight what the type of music they perform.
There music is also linked with the background colour as the dark blue is moody but also its chilled showing characteristics of the band and their music. Also by wearing the dark jackets and shirts it again shows their dark side with the music plus it shows how gloomy which would appeal to the target audience of this genre. I like that its shot in a natural background but in the middle of a road showing that they love performing and traveling on the road but also to show that you should listen to their music on the road in the car and it gives that attitude and mood better on the road, it just shows that this band is all about attitude in the way they perform but also in the music as they make their songs personal and issues that they care about. The lead singer in placed in front of the other band members to show he is the leader of the group and he is the most important member in the group, plus to show he is key in their huge success.
This is a long shot of the artist to again show the background behind her and the equipment she uses in her performing and making her music.She is posed in quite a cool and casual manner to the artist seem friendly and pleasant which can also represent her music as its quite pop and enjoyable instead of being all dark and strange its simple. She is wearing very glamours clothing to show she enjoys the glamour side of music, she is a success and likes to dress up in her performances but with linking with equipment behind her it shows what genre of music she likes to perform pop and dancing tunes. The background is unusual but it links with music cover of her album which links with her music career and album also to show she cares about her album she made its personal to her but also she like to perform music, its all about the music to her which would appeal to the target audience young as its modern music she is performing which again links with her clothing its modern, update and the music that we listen to now. Her face is also smiling which gives her an approachable image but shows her characteristics as being a happy person and also shows this in her music and they way she performs and acts in front of her audience and fans.
