Research contents page

This contents isn't a rock magazine its full of different genres but its different as the picture isn't in the middle of the page its at the bottom of the page and obviously posed in a unusual way with her legs kicked up and it makes the picture stand out with this pose as its different from other poses and positions then other contents pages plus it shows the whole body which makes me believe that the girl on the contents page is the main article in the magazine as not only is she posed in a unusual way but her photograph is the most dominate item on the page making out she is the main article in the magazine to show she is important and we as the audience want to read on more about her.

Also the colours of the background are dark and make the text stand out but they link well with colours of the photograph they almost blend in with each but the colours make them stand out from the page.

There is very little text on the contents page its more picture orientated and the subtitles are bold with a little information underneath to give information about that article and state what page its on. The contents name is the boldest and brightest word on the page showing its the title of the page but also laid out very differently it mixes up at bit showing it is different and unique from other magazines.
